"Record the dates of existence of the entity being described. For corporate bodies include the date of establishment/foundation/enabling legislation and dissolution. For persons include the dates or approximate dates of birth and death or, when these dates are not known, floruit dates. Where parallel systems of dating are used, equivalences may be recorded according to relevant conventions or rules. Álvaro Maximiliano Pino Coviello nació en San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina en 1971. Estudió la Tecnicatura en Comunicación Social en el Instituto San Miguel (1992) recibiendo la medalla al mejor promedio. En Salta, se recibe de Técnico (1995) y Licenciado en Comunicaciones Sociales en la Universidad Católica de Salta -UCASAL (2000) recibiendo el premio Andrés Mendieta al mejor índice académico. Obtiene su habilitación como Locutor Nacional (UCASAL-I.S.E.R, 1996) Carnet Nº 4.864. Obtuvo el pos título de Profesor en Comunicaciones Sociales para E.G.B.3, Polimodal y Superior no Universitario (1999) y el de Investigación Educativa (2012) Ministerio de Educación de Salta. Está habilitado como Mediador (2003) por la Red Nacional de Centros de Mediación y Arbitraje Comercial, Programa BID-FOMIN-CAC, Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos de la Nación. Es Master en Tecnologías de la Comunicación por la Universidad de Cagliari-UNICA, Italia (2019) y Doctorando en Humanidades por la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán -UNT, Argentina. Se ha desempeñado como periodista del Departamento de Prensa de Radio Nacional Salta perteneciente al Servicio Oficial de Radiodifusión. Ha sido co-conductor y productor de “Educación al Día”, programa nominado al Premio Martín Fierro. Como locutor, se ha desempeñado en el ámbito la publicidad, del ceremonial y en la locución artística de radioteatros como integrante del Elenco Estable de Radio Nacional Salta. Ha escrito diversos guiones de radio, destacándose el radioteatro unitario “Piel del sol” donde se denuncia la problemática social de los indígenas del Chaco Salteño. Publicó artículos periodísticos en semanarios locales. Recibió numerosas distinciones y premios. Ha dictado cursos sobre comunicación, entre ellos se destaca la locución en lengua materna indígena. Se desempeñó como docente del Nivel Superior por concurso en la Cátedra de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación del Profesorado de Tecnología (2007-2016) del Profesorado en Primaria (2010), del Profesorado de Ciencias Políticas (2016-2017) del Instituto de Educación Superior 6001 Gral. Manuel Belgrano y la misma disciplina en el Profesorado de Historia (2015-2016) del Instituto de Educación Superior 6005 de Salta. Ha sido docente adscripto a la Cátedra de Tecnología Educativa de la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de Salta. Ha sido Coordinador de la Carrera de Locución (2001-2006) y de la Carrera de Operador Técnico de Estudio de Radio (2004-2006) y Docente Adjunto de Semiología de la Publicidad (2005-2006) de la Facultad de Artes y Ciencias de la Universidad Católica de Salta, donde también fue Profesor de Taller de Redacción I y II y Semiótica General y Aplicada del Dpto. de Comunicaciones Sociales. En la Facultad de Economía y Administración de la UCASAL fue docente adjunto por concurso de la Cátedra de Semiótica. En la Escuela de Educación Física de la UCASAL fue docente de Comunicación y Expresión (2014-2016). En el año 2011 fue invitado a integrase a la Cátedra UNESCO de lectura y escritura. Coordinador y nexo entre la Asociación Indígena de Tartagal Mbaaporenda y la Universidad Católica de Salta (Resolución Rectoral 578/04). Fue Secretario General del Instituto de Derechos Humanos y Derecho Internacional Humanitario de la UCASAL (Resolución Rectoral 468/07). Es co-fundador de LONAI, Grupo de Locutores Narradores Independientes. Ha sido Jefe del Departamento de Prensa de AM 840 Radio Salta. Desde el 2000 y hasta marzo de 2008 se desempeñó como Productor General de AM 840 Radio Salta. Ha sido Supervisor de la Dirección General de Educación Superior del Ministerio de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de la Provincia de Salta 2009 a 2012. Ha sido invitado como expositor a congresos de la comunicación en Argentina, Chile y Brasil. Se desempeñó desde el 2006 al 2016 como Jefe del Departamento de Comunicaciones Sociales de la UCASAL. Desde mediados del 2012, regresó a su cargo de Productor General de AM 840 Radio Salta hasta el 2015. Director de AM 840 Radio Salta (octubre 2015- febrero 2017). Es coautor del libro 40 años de la Universidad Católica de Salta (2003); compilador del Bicentenario en la Escuela Normal (2011); uno de los autores de 100 años de Presencia Ortodoxa en Salta: El camino del Amor Edificador (2015); ha escrito un capítulo del libro Ambiente y Pueblos Indígenas: una mirada interdisciplinaria (2017). En Brasil es coautor de los libros PROPOSITURAS: ensino e saberes sobre um enfoque interdisciplinar (2018); de Migração o Planeta em movimento (2017), 2da.Migração o Planeta em movimento (2018). Ha publicado sobre semiótica, estudios visuales y estudios culturales. Escribe textos periodísticos, guiones, ensayos, poemas y narraciones. Ha participado de muestras colectivas y de teatro. Tiene premios artísticos, periodísticos y literarios. Como periodista ha ocupado todos los cargos desde cronista de calle, productor, jefe de producción, jefe de prensa, hasta director de radio. Por una falsa denuncia y fakes news en diciembre de 2016 debió refugiarse en Curitiba (Brasil). Desde el 2017 busca nuevas experiencias artísticas, literarias, periodísticas y de investigación sobre comunicación en el país que lo recibió en su exilio, Brasil.
