"Record the dates of existence of the entity being described. For corporate bodies include the date of establishment/foundation/enabling legislation and dissolution. For persons include the dates or approximate dates of birth and death or, when these dates are not known, floruit dates. Where parallel systems of dating are used, equivalences may be recorded according to relevant conventions or rules. Specify in the Rules and/or conventions element (5.4.3) the system(s) of dating used, e.g. ISO 8601." (ISAAR 5.2.1)
Facundo Sinatra Soukoyan nació en mayo de 1982 en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Al terminar los estudios secundarios, en una escuela pública del barrio de Mataderos, comenzó la carrera de sociología en la UBA. Luego de 4 años la abandonó para comenzar la carrera de profesor de enseñanza primaria, egresando en 2008. Vivió en Chiapas, México, durante más de un año, ejerciendo su profesión y viviendo en comunidades de la selva Lacandona, fronteriza con Guatemala, donde comenzó su vinculación con el periodismo audiovisual y comunitario. Al regresar a Buenos Aires inició su trabajo en programas socio-educativos en barrios con vulnerabilidad social en el gran Buenos Aires. Luego ejerció la docencia primaria en escuelas de CABA, para continuar como coordinador de programas socio-educativos en la misma Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Paralelamente comenzó a escribir artículos periodísticos en medios alternativos, participó de diversos programas radiales y publicó dos libros, uno vinculado al Genocidio Armenio, (Memorias de un sobreviviente del Genocidio Armenio), del cual es nieto de sobrevivientes; y otro vinculado al asesinato del joven mapuche Rafael Nahuel (Conversaciones urgentes a partir de Rafael Nahuel), sucedido en 2017 en Bariloche. También participó en la confección del libro “Armenios en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires”. Estos libros y relatos fueron presentados en más de 20 oportunidades en diversos sitios públicos y congresos varios. Se mudó a la provincia de Salta en 2020 donde fue editor y actualmente es redactor en el diario Salta/12. Desde 2022 trabaja en la subsecretaría de Gestión Cultural de la Secretaria de Cultura de la Provincia de Salta y participa en diversos programas radiales. También continúa escribiendo en revistas digitales: Revista Livertá, Revista Rondo (de España), Revista Meta. En 2022 ganó una Beca Creación del Fondo Nacional de las Artes.
