Jorge Oscar López nació el 1 de diciembre de 1949 en Salta capital. Integró entre 1977 - 1981 Pro Cultura Salta, Comisión Directiva: Vocal 1º. Fue un miembro fundador. Durante 1974, 1980-1984 y 1987-1992 trabajó en la Universidad Nacional de Salta como Director del Centro de Medios Audiovisuales. Produjo programas para el canal de aire local. Dictó talleres de aprendizaje en distintas áreas técnicas y de realización. Asume la creación y dirección de FM Universidad 93.9. Dictó talleres de radio para Docentes y alumnos durante 1982. Produjo y dirigió Gral. de ACENTO, ciclo de documentales emitidos por Canal 11 de Salta. Realización de documentales para este ciclo. Premio Santa Clara de Asis. Contenido del ciclo: aspectos culturales de la región, fiestas populares, oficios, etc. Total de emisiones 32. Año 1983. Llevó adelante la producción y dirección de DE TODOS programa informativo sobre la actividad cultural de la Provincia (1985 – 1986). Fue Gerente General de Santa Clara de Asís-Operadora de Tv Cable Salta. Organización y método para todas las áreas. Produjo programas propios. Incorporó nuevas señales y diagramó el cableado en nuevas zonas de la ciudad (1986). Estuvo a cargo de cámara y fotografía del largometraje dirigido por JUAN SCHOREDER “Había una vez una ballena” (1987). Participó en la realización de Don Alemán cortometraje, en 16 mm, color, 14 minutos, basado en el cuento del mismo nombre de Francisco Zamora. Seleccionado en el Concurso de Proyectos del INCAA 1992-1999. Director de Programación y Operaciones LW82 TV Canal 11 Salta. Estuvo a cargo de la capacitación del personal. Se desempeñó como gerente de Programación de Televisoras del Interior. Asesoramientos varios: Iluminación, Escenografía, etc. (2001 – 2003). Fue coordinador General de Canal 11. Producción y Dirección: EN OTRAS PALABRAS (Canal 11); CONTROL CIUDADANO (Cablevisión); DESPABILADOS (Canal 11) ; ARRIBA SALTA (Canal 11); EL MEDICO EN MI CASA (Canal 11); ME JUEGO POR MI BARRIO (Canal 11); DE ESTAS Y OTRAS YERBAS (FM Pacífico. 92.9). 2005 – 2007. Director de FM 93.3 Continental Salta. 2007 – 2009. Director FM 103.5 Continental-Grupo PRISA. 2011-2013. Se desempeñó como Coordinador General Subsecretaría de Prensa de Gobierno de la Ciudad de Salta. 2013 – 2015. Fue Gerente General de Canal Dos SRL.
